LANCASTER - Elelia Grace Allin, 76, of Elm Street, died at her home Thursday afternoon, April 20, 2006.
Mrs. Allin was born in Dummer, NH, on July 23, 1929, the daughter of Rosaire and Mabel (Magill) Frechette.
Elelia was raised in the North Country but resided most of her lifetime in Peterborough, NH. There she was a full time homemaker raising eight children with her first husband Glen Courser Sr. After Glen's retirement they returned north. She always loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading and baking in her spare time. Glen predeceased her in 1990 and she later married Stuart G. Allin of Lancaster.
She was a member of the Dalton Congregational Church and the Grange.
Surviving family members include six children, Glen Courser Jr. and wife Kathleen of Dalton, Kenneth Courser Sr. and wife Margaret of Dunbar, PA, Dwight Courser and wife Cindy of Athol, MA, Jean Judkins and husband Everett of Antrim, Catherine Burgess and husband Steven of Sebago, ME, Neal Courser and wife Dorothy of Manchester, NH; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her second husband Stuart and two children, Sheila Courser and Daniel Courser.
At Elelia's request there are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Wheeler Hill Cemetery, Littleton.
