JEFFERSON- Elizabeth Haase, 85, died Thursday evening, December 21, 2006, at the Riverglen House, Littleton.
Mrs. Haase was born in Clinton, Massachusetts, on September 17, 1921, the daughter of Waylan and Cornelia (Offerson) Howard.
Raised in Clinton, MA she was a graduate of Clinton Academy. In the late 70's she and her husband Frank purchased their home in Jefferson, and moved there permanently after Frank's retirement in 1981.
Elizabeth had a lifelong love of art and was an avid oil painter, particularly of portraits and seascapes. She loved the White Mountain's and chose to spend the last 30 years among them. She was an avid golfer, and a member of the Franklin Country Club in Franklin, MA.
Family members include, her two sons, Franz P. Haase and his wife Louise, of Wolfeboro, NH, Howard C. Herman-Haase and his wife Eileen, of Medford, MA; four grandchildren, Kelly, Jennifer, Franz, and Haylee; three great grandchildren, Morgan, Hunter, and William. She was predeceased by, her husband on January 7, 2002.
There are no calling hours. Services will be held in Norfolk, Ma on Wednesday December 27, 2006.
