Elizabeth 'Betty Watkins' Egli

Dalton, NH- Elizabeth Louise Egli "Betty Watkins", 59, passed away on Thursday May 30, 2013 at Weeks Medical Center. She was born in Middletown, CT on February 19, 1954 a daughter to John Wilbur Watkins and Elsie Mary Erickson.
Mrs. Egli grew up in New Haven, CT, resided and raised her family in Boston, MA and later moved to Dalton, NH where she then worked for the Postal Service in Littleton, NH for 17 years. She was a lover of animals, flowers, bird watching and gardening. Mrs. Egli was also an award winning artist in her teenage years. She was a very strong woman, with a huge heart and was the glue that held people together. She was a great mother, wife and friend.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Egli of Dalton, four children; Layla O'Shea and her husband Eugene of Wilbraham, MA, Dawn Cordero and her husband Luis of Killeen, TX, Adam Egli of Dalton, Seth Egli and his wife Danielle of Dalton, two sisters Beverly and Susan Watkins, two brothers John Watkins, John Erickson, seven grandchildren Michael, Shannon, Brianna, Cassandra, Carmen, Alexis and Simone.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Tuesday June 4 at 11 AM in Johns River Cemetery in Dalton with Reverend Matthew Mason officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Riverside Rescue, Inc. 236 Riverside Avenue Lunenburg, VT 05906
