Ellen P. Ineson, 84 of Whitefield, New Hampshire passed away at home on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born to Michael & Mabel Power in Charlestown, Massachusetts on March 29th, 1942. Prior to retirement, Ellen was a teacher at Odonald School in Boston. She later moved to Whitefield in 2000.

Ellen will be remembered for her love of animals, especially dogs. She heavily supported Riverside Rescue. Ellen also enjoyed fairy gardens and readings. She was a long term member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Whitefield.

Survivors include her son, David(Barbara) Ineson and two grandchildren, James(Mallory) Ineson & Jacob (Kimberly) Ineson. Additionally she leaves behind siblings Michael, Dennis, Maurice and James Power and great-grandchildren Maybell-Ellen, Mason, Colten, Paislie Adaline & Millie-Jean as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew’s Church in Whitefield, New Hampshire on Monday, July 13th at 11am. Burial will follow at Park Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Riverside Rescue of Lunenburg, VT or 1 Solider 1 Dog 1 Team.
