Elvina M. 'Honey' Allen

GUILDHALL - Elvina M. "Honey" Allen, 70, died at her home Wednesday morning, August 17, 2016.
Elvina was born in Lancaster on June 23, 1946 the daughter of William E. and Lucy Velma (Tippett) Allen Sr. She has been a lifetime resident of Guildhall and served as Guildhall's Postmaster for 32 years before retiring in 2014. Honey enjoyed knitting, crocheting, canning, gardening, and fishing.
Memberships included the Essex County Farm Bureau and the Ladies Auxiliary Post 17 of Groveton.
Surviving family members include her brother Philip W. Allen and sister Evelyn L Allen, both of Maidstone; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by her longtime companion Helen S. Silver and a brother William E. "Buck" Allen Jr.
At Honey's request services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Leukemia Foundation,
