Emma B. Mcfarlin

LANCASTER- Emma B. McFarlin, 90, formerly of Dalton, died Sunday evening December 17, 2006, at Country Village Health Care Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. McFarlin was born in Monkton, Vermont on August 27, 1916, the daughter of Edward L. and Bertha (Morrill) Stannard.
Emma was raised in Dalton and was a graduate of Dalton High School, where she was active in sports. She worked for a time at Gilman Paper Company before moving to Connecticut where she resided for 16 years and worked for Pratt & Whitney. In 1987 she moved back to Dalton. She was always helping others, active with Meals on Wheels, the Fireman's Auxiliary, and the Senior Citizens Center in Gilman, VT.
She was a member of the Dalton Congregational Church.
Family members include a son Harold C. Bowker of Spokane, Washington, four grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by, her husband Forest McFarlin.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Cushman Cemetery, Dalton.
