LANCASTER- Ernestine L. Blanchard, 81, died Tuesday January 9, 2007, at Weeks Medical center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Blanchard was born on June 5, 1925, in Colebrook, the daughter of Ernest and Laura (Wheeler) Cass.
Ernestine was a longtime North Country resident. For a time she was employed for the Gilman Paper Company and was a chambermaid at the Evergreen Motel in Jefferson for many years.
Family members include a daughter Joyce Dupont of Lancaster; a son Wayne Reed of Jefferson; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son George Cass and three sisters, Pearl White, Evelyn Cass, and Mildred Gray.
There are no visiting hours or services scheduled at this time. Burial will be in the spring in Jefferson.
