Ethel H. Ew

GROVETON- Ethel H. Drew, 86, of Lancaster Road, died December 24, 2008, at Weeks Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Drew was born in Morgan, VT on July 3, 1922, a daughter of Herbert and Cora (Cole) Bryant.

Ethel was the librarian of the Groveton Public Library for many years retiring at age 75. She enjoyed bingo and loved to knit, she was well known for her knitted baby sets.

Family members include her daughter Cathy Dunham and her husband Michael of Groveton, a sister Vivian Parks of Stark, two granddaughters, Alicia Dunham and Stephanie Dunham and nieces and nephews. Her husband Harry F. Drew, her son Roger Drew, two brothers, Loren Bryant and Lawrence Bryant and a sister Lila Jenkins, predeceased her.

At Ethel's request there are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Northumberland Cemetery.
