LANCASTER- Fredrick "Mike" Landon, 58, of North Road, died Wednesday morning, April 22, 2009, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mr. Landon was born in Plymouth, New Hampshire on June 13, 1950 the son of Fred Landon and Gloria (Parres) Cummings.
Mike had varies jobs over the years. Even though he was disabled for the last few years of his life, he never gave up trying to contribute to his family and to the community. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.
He was an active member of the Northern Valley Church of Christ in Lancaster.
Family members include his wife Janet (Skinner) Landon of Lancaster, four daughter, Katrina Coe of Hampton, VA, Julie Robbins of Penacook, NH, Billie Landon of Twin Mountain and Lisa Landon of Littleton and his step-son Steven Lewis of Phoenix, AZ. His sisters Pauline Conkey of Wells River, VT, Loretta Paige Berryan also of Wells River, Shannon Landon of Lisbon, NH, Geri Lapre of Holderness, NH and Valerie Landon of Littleton, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 25, at 2:00 PM, at the Northern Valley Church of Christ in Lancaster. Pastor Tom Jackson will officiate.
