GUILDHALL- Gary Dean Brown, 49, died Friday January 5, 2007, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, as a result of a work related injury.
Mr. Brown was born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont on May 7, 1957, the son of Sherwood and Vivian (Hodgdon) Brown.
Gary was a family man, whose greatest pleasure was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his two dogs, Rudy and Kallie.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and four wheeling.
Family members include, his parents of Granby, VT; his wife of 30 years Tammy Brown of Guildhall; two children, Stacey Valdez and her husband Daniel of Lancaster; Gary Brown and his wife Patty of Guildhall; six grandchildren, Daniel, Spencer, Parker, and Justin Valdez, Cassady and Nathaniel Brown, three brothers, Robert Brown and his wife Laurie of Rumford, ME, Gene Brown and Jeff Brown and his wife Dorene all of Granby; a sister Cindy Bilodeau and her husband Leonard also of Granby and several nieces and nephews.
At Gary's request there are no calling hour's. A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 9, at 3:00 PM at the Guildhall Community Church. Reverend Gerry Piper will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridgwell Cemetery, Guildhall.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Riverside Animal Rescue, 236 Riverside Ave, Lunenburg, VT 05906
