LUNENBURG - Gary L. Degreenia, 69, of Bobbin Mill Road, died of a sudden illness Wednesday evening October 10, 2012 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mr. Degreenia was born in Lancaster, NH, on April 18, 1943, the son of Ernest Degreenia and Mary Madeline (Leavitt) Skaradoski.
Gary was raised in Gorham and has been a longtime North Country resident. He resided and raised his own family in Littleton and has lived in Lunenburg and Gilman for 20 years. For over 30 years he was employed at Gilman Paper Company.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and four-wheeling.
Surviving family members include his wife Raylene M. (Burt) Degreenia of Lunenburg; three sons, Jay Degreenia and his significant other Karen of Penacook, Mark Degreenia and his significant other Tausha of Lunenburg, Scott Degreenia and his wife Linna of Littleton; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters and their spouses, Linda Farrar and James of Conway, Susan Currier and Dennis of Gorham, Wendall Degreenia of Milan, Rodney Degreenia and Debbie, Ricky Degreenia and Sharon, Bird Bilodeau and Brian all of Gorham; a sister-in-law Jean Degreenia of Florida; along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Ernest "Pete" Degreenia of Plymouth, MA.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening October 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster.
