George D Roberts, known to many as David or Dave, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27th at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH with family by his side.
He was born July 25, 1956 in West Stewartstown, New Hampshire.
George loved sports of all kinds. He was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Celtics. In addition, he was involved in local sports throughout his life. He had a passion for coaching, refereeing, and umpiring.
George will be loved and missed by his surviving family members including his four children and their spouses; Brian Roberts, Katie (Roberts) Gray and husband Travis, Stacie Roberts and her significant other William Lemire, Becky Roberts and her significant other Travis Vaught and two grandchildren, Natalie and Kaya.
George is also survived by his siblings; Pam Roberts, Lynn Emery and her husband Roger, Cindy Normandeau and her husband Dennis, JD Roberts, Heather Bailey and her husband Colin and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Norma Roberts.
With heartfelt gratitude, the family thanks all of those who were such great friends to him throughout the years.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Friday evening, April 6th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. Burial will be held in the spring at the Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster, NH.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of George may be made to Col. Town Recreation.
