LUNENBURG, VT- Gerard L. Scott, 58, of Mallett Road, died Thursday morning, May 15, 2008, at the Saint Johnsbury Health and Rehab. Center.
Mr. Scott was born in Concord, VT on January 4, 1950, a son of Donat and Cecile Scott.
Gerard was a lifelong resident of the Concord and Lunenburg area. He was a graduate of Concord High School and attended Lyndon State College. For 34 years he worked as a purchasing agent for the Gilman Mill and Dirigo Paper in Gilman.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to his summer home on the lake. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Family members include his wife Patricia (Woods) Scott of Lunenburg, a son Patrick N. Scott and his wife Chrissie, a grandson Xander all of Lunenburg, two brothers, Donald Scott and his wife Carol, Richard Scott and his wife Beth all of North Carolina, two sisters Diane Hill and Pauline Scott both of St. Johnsbury and several nieces and nephews.
At Gerard's request there are no services.
