LANCASTER - Glendelling C. Baker, 89, died Monday, October 25, 2011, at Country Village Genesis Eldercare Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Baker was born in Lancaster on August 4, 1922, the daughter of Harlie F. and Lulu (Bean) Carpenter.
She resided in Lancaster for many years and attended local schools. On April 30, 1949, she married Russell S. Baker. In 1972 they moved to Maine where she resided until Russell's death in 1984.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held Friday morning October 28, at 10:00 AM in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster. Rev. Ron Bruce, pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster, will officiate.
