JEFFERSON – Glenn A. Lurvey Sr., 81, of Presidential Highway, died at his home Tuesday morning, February 27, 2024, after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn was born in Lancaster, NH on April 6, 1942, the son of Orville Preston Lurvey and Carolyn Virginia Curtis. He worked most of his lifetime as a journeyman lineman for the IBEW Local 42 and was also a licensed fiberoptics technician.
Riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles was Glenn’s favorite passion. He also enjoyed gambling, visiting any casino he could, and spending Tuesdays playing cards with brothers Jimmy and Wayne. He was a family man and enjoyed his time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but most important to him was doing anything with his wife Pam by his side.
Surviving family include his wife Pamela (Perkins) Lurvey of Jefferson; his daughter Wendy Bennett (Jay) of Maidstone, VT; his grandchildren, Christopher Barnett, Katherine Armstrong (Josh Boivin), John R. Armstrong, Jordan Marshall (Ethan), Daegan Perras, William Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Cole Boivin, Clayton Perkins, Magnola Boivin, Lincoln Armstrong, Clemson Perras, Maelyn Perras; a godson Abimael Medina Jr.; his siblings, James Lurvey of Groveton, Wayne Lurvey of Groveton, Beverly Ambrozewski of Illinois, Carol Seymore of Mississippi, Brian Lurvey of Pennsylvania, Joseph Masgula of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was predeceased by a daughter Debbie Joan Lurvey; a son Glenn A. Lurvey Jr.; his parents Orville and Carolyn; and two brothers Richard Lurvey and Bruce Masgula.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
