LANCASTER, NH- Harold A. Way, 72, passed away, Monday morning January 17, 2011, at the Epsom Healthcare Center.

Mr. Way was born in Lancaster, NH on February 21, 1938, a son of Frank and Myra (Austin) Way.

Harold was raised in Lancaster and was a graduate of Lancaster Academy. He served 10 years in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. For a time he worked for Topsom Industries and for Timberland Machine for 20 years, he retired from Nash Equipment in Colebrook in 2002.

He enjoyed playing cards and welding, which he was well known for.

Memberships include the John Weeks VFW Post 3041, Lancaster and the Military Order of the Cooties and for a time was the Commander.

Family members include three sons, Guy Way of Littleton, Danny Way of Dalton and Brad Way of Maine; two daughters, Mary Ellen Bishop of Savannah, GA and Ann Marie Dubreuil of Lancaster; a brother Richard Way of Lancaster, 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by, two sons Joe Way and Jimmy Way, a sister Eleanor and two brothers Stanley and Ralph.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening January 20, 2011 from 6-8 PM, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A graveside service with military honors will be held in the spring in the Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster.
