EAST CONCORD, VT - Harriett A. Sterling, 91, of 18 Cedar Street, passed away at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation on Saturday December 7, 2013.
Harriett was born in Lunenburg, VT to Richard and Annie (Lord) Cooper on January 6, 1922.
She worked in many capacities but ran the Bethlehem Spa for 20 years, a drugstore and restaurant.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Sterling, her son Albert Sterling and infant son Herbert Sterling.
Family members include two sons, Wayne Sterling of East Concord, VT, Richard Sterling and wife Cheryl of East Concord, VT; daughter-in-law Judy Sterling of Merrimack, NH; brother-in-law Robert Sterling and his wife Pat; a nephew Donald Nealy and his wife Jean; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
At Harriett's request there are no visiting hours.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Overlook Cemetery, East Concord.
