Milan, NH- Harry A. Goodwin Jr. 67, died on Monday August 19, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in West Stewartstown on August 10, 1946 a son to Harry A. Sr. and Elizabeth (Gorman) Goodwin. He grew up in Lemington, VT and graduated from Colebrook Academy.
Harry worked as a truck driver for most of his life, owning and operating his own milk route. Most recently he was working transporting clients to various medical appointments.
Harry was predeceased by his parents and wife Dianna. He is survived by his children and grandchildren; Donna Kapila and her children Rebecca and Sarah, Dale Goodwin Sr. and his wife Cristina and their sons Dale Jr. and Sebastian, Richard Goodwin Sr. and his fiance Jess and his son Richard Jr., Dana Goodwin and his wife Amy and children Danielle, Bradley and Elizabeth, Michael Hicks II and his children Michael III, Damien, Dakota, Miaih and his companion Evelyn Kenney. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Harry enjoyed racing, genealogy, being a vendor at the Fair and selling trees,vegetables and his time delivering the Colebrook Chronicle to his customers that stretched from Haverhill to Pittsburgh.
Family and friends are in invited to visiting hours on Friday August 23, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations may be made to Bailey Funeral Home 210 Main Street Lancaster, NH 03584 to help defray funeral costs.
