LANCASTER – Isabella J. “Bella” Scott, 60, died Thursday evening, September 28, 2023, at her daughter’s home on Summer Street, after a period of failing health.
Bella was born in Bremerton, WA, on March 25, 1963, the daughter of Derald T. and Lorraine A. (Walmsley) Scott.
She was raised in California and was a graduate of Twenty-Nine Palms High School. She later moved to Iowa City and eventually New Hampshire and has resided between both locations for years.
In New Hampshire she worked at Weeks Medical Center and was a paraeducator in the Stratford school system. Most will remember her as the 4:30AM friendly face at Riverside Market & Deli and Backroom Tavern in N. Stratford. In her spare time she enjoyed camping and crafts.
Surviving family members include her children Carisa N. Fox of Lancaster and Tammy R. Fox of Ann Arbor, MI who she shared with former husband Jeff Fox of Williamsburg, Iowa, Madison L. Moothart and Elijah P. Moothart, both of Iowa City, who she shared with former husband Kevin Moothart of Iowa City; two grandchildren; siblings Darwin T. Scott of Alburquerque, NM, Jasper T. Scott of Cascade, UT, Glyndon P. Scott of 29 Palms CA, Aaron P. Scott of 29 Palms, CA, Sarah A. Scott Roussell of Barnstead, NH, Alarice C. Scott Burt of Bloomfield, VT; and 18 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 8th at 12:00PM at the home of her sister Alarice, at 94 VT RT 105, Bloomfield, VT.
