WHITEFIELD - Jan Elizabeth Jones, 74, of View Street, passed away October 6, 2021 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster, after a period of failing health.
Jan was born in New York City on August 7, 1947, the daughter of Arthur J. and Ruth I. (Haugseth) Tillinghast. After high school she acquired a bachelor's degree in English. She worked various jobs in the North Country including employment at Walmart for several years. Jan enjoyed walking, reading mysteries, enjoying scenic views, and spending time with her four sons.
Surviving family members include her sons Jonathan Jones of Lincoln NH, Eric Jones of Epping, NH, Paul Jones of Loudon, NH, and Carl Jones of Wells River, VT.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family
