JEFFERSON - March 27, 2015. Janet E. Willey died peacefully at her home in Whitefield surrounded by family. She was born March 20, 1933 in St. Johnsbury, Vt to Henry and E. Maude (Hoffecker) Bailey. She was raised on the family farm at Harvey's Lake in East Barnet, Vt.
Janet enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking, canning, gardening and loved to watch a good hockey game.
She was predeceased by husband Ray C. Willey II, sons John F. Lyon and RobertM. Willey, and a grandson, Michael J. Whitney. She is survived by daughters Jane Schmucker of Fort Collins, CO, Melanie Whitney of Lancaster, Lisa Wheeler of Gorham, sons Douglas Lyon and wife Diane of Dalton, Ray C. Willey III and Tia Flanders of Jefferson and W. Joe Willey and Tonia Stevens of Dalton, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
A graveside service will be held Friday morning May 15 at 11:00 in Forest Vale Cemetery. Life Cycle celebrant Wendy MacDonald will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northwoods Home Health and Hospice North Main St Lancaster, NH 03584
