Janice Lalumiere

November 13, 1932 — January 29, 2021

LANCASTER - Janice LaLumiere, 87, born Janice Nancy Carlton, in Nashua, NH, November 13, 1932, died January 29 in Lancaster.

She married William (Bill) LaLumiere and eventually moved to Jefferson in 1965 where they raised 5 children.

Janice worked at Manchester Knitted in Whitefield, was a CNA at Jefferson Nursing Home, and had a successful upholstery business which allowed her to express her creativity.

Her hobbies included crochet, stuffed animal creations, gardening, woodworking, sewing clothing and patchwork quilts and making hooked and braided rugs. Her hands were never idle.

She helped out at the Littleton Senior Center and met many interesting people. Janice moved to Highland House in Whitefield, until vision loss caused her to relocate to Country Village in Lancaster.

She will be remembered, most recently, for her faithful prayers for all those around her and primarily for those she loved.

Janice is predeceased by her husband, Bill; youngest son, Chance; eldest son, Rene and many family and friends.

She is survived by daughter-in-law, Elaine LaLumiere, (Rene); granddaughter, Nicole, (Tim); great grandchildren Renee, Hunter, Tim and Ella. Daughter, Ronni Simmons; grandchildren Isaiah,(Desiree) and Esther; great granddaughter Victoria. Son, Michael LaLumiere, (Lucy). Son, Lance LaLumiere, (Kelly); former daughter-in-law, Melissa; granddaughter, Raelene.
