Jean J. Hilliard

Lancaster, NH- Jean J. Hilliard, 86, passed away on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Presidential Oaks in Concord, NH. She was born in Groveton, NH on September 4, 1926, a daughter to the late Harold B. and Mae (Blais) Johnson.

Mrs. Hilliard was raised in Groveton and later in Lancaster graduating from Lancaster High School in 1943. She went on to attend the Burdette College in Boston, MA. Mrs. Hilliard returned to Lancaster and married Robert D. Hilliard. She was employed for over 20 years at the Kent Nursing Home and Country Village Health Care Center.

Mrs. Hilliard was pre deceased by her parents, husband Bob Hilliard and son Michael. She is survived by her children Carol Maxwell of Pembroke, NH, John Hilliard of North Port, FL, Stephen Hilliard of Bretton Woods, NH, Katherine Placey of La Mesa, CA, James Hilliard of Fort Myers Beach, FL, a brother Stanley B. Johnson of Keene, NH, a sister Joy J. Falkenham of Salem, NH, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday May 21 from 6 to 8 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 22 at 11 AM at All Saints Church in Lancaster with Reverend Matthew Mason presiding. Burial will be on Friday May 24 at 10:30 AM in Calvary Cemetery in Lancaster.
