STRATFORD - Jeffrey M. Marshall, 64, of Bog Road, died peacefully at home, Sunday, June 14th, 2020, after a period of failing health. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Jeff was born in Lancaster on March 4, 1956, the son of Stewart G. and Louisa D. (Lavertue) Marshall. He graduated from Groveton High School in 1974 and went on to serve with the US Army, 82nd Airborne, Special Forces. For many years he was a truck driver for Wausau Carrier Inc. until his retirement.
He was past member of the American Legion. Jeff enjoyed stock car racing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving family members include his children, Jeffrey Marshall and wife Peggy of Gilman, Scott Marshall and wife Carrie of Groveton, Katie Marshall of Groveton and their mother Julie Marshall; siblings Bona Ladd and husband Larry of Stratford, Tim Marshall of Lancaster, Gary Marshall of Whitefield; 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Shelden, Christian, Jeffrey, Sierra, Hunter, Isabelle, Clayton and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Kirby Lynn; his parents Stewart and Louisa; and his fiancée Beth McMann.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, June 21st, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. Additional services will be held at a later date.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to an animal shelter of your choice.
