LANCASTER, NH - JoAnn Garland Pearce, 76, died Saturday June 18, 2011, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon after a long illness.
Mrs. Pearce was born on November 28, 1934, in Whitefield, NH a daughter of Frank and Virginia (Glidden) Garland.
JoAnn worked for many local businesses, for 15 years she was an assistant manager for the Lancaster Motor Inn.
Family members include her children, Kenneth F. Dobson Sr. and his wife Barbara of Jefferson, NH, Vernon Dobson and his wife Elizabeth of Alna, ME, Dareleen Dobson of East Boothbay, ME and Frederick Dobson of Nobleboro, ME, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by, her parents, her stepfather Arnold Turner, her 1st husband Frederick Vernon Dobson in 1973 and her 2nd husband Ralph Pearce in 1976.
At the families request all services are private.
In lieu of flowers donations maybe made in her name to Weeks Medical Center Auxiliary, 173 Middle St, Lancaster, NH 03584 or a charity of ones choice.
