Joanne Roberts Landroche Muise

PITTSBURG - Joanne C. Muise, 85, of Beach Road, died Sunday afternoon, July 1, 2018, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Joanne was born in Lancaster on February 26, 1933 the daughter of John and Myrtle (Johannesen) Roberts. In 1951 she graduated from Lancaster Academy. She married Leo Landroche and together they had three children, Jeff, Janine and Jon. They resided for a time in Newmarket. Leo "Tip" predeceased her and she returned to the North Country in 1974. On March 26, 1977 she married Arthur Muise and for 23 years they resided in Groveton until moving to Pittsburg in 2000.
Joanne was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Lancaster, and was a Rainbow Girl.
Surviving family members include her children and stepchildren, Jeff Landroche of Rochester, NH, Janine Elliott of Lancaster, Jon Landroche of Lancaster; Donald Muise and wife Renee of Flagstaff, AZ, Linda Muise of Dover, Cathy Byham and husband Rob of Williamsport, PA; 10 beloved grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by Arthur in 2011 and her two brothers and their spouses, John and Norma Roberts, Erling "Butch" and Peggy Roberts.
She will be missed and forever loved by her family and friends that she touched and cared for on her ride though life.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 8th at 1:00 PM at St. Paul's Church in Lancaster. Reverend Timothy Brooks, pastor, will officiate. A private burial will be held in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, New England Division 121 Connor Way, Suite 420 Williston, Vermont 05495-1460.
