John P. Dobson

LUNENBURG - John P. Dobson, Sr. 65, of Maillett Road died Saturday April 2, 2002 at his home following an extended illness. Born March 1, 1957, in Whitefield, NH he was the son of Fredrick and Elsie (Murphy) Dobson. He attended local schools and White Mountain Regional High School afterwards making a living as an automobile mechanic.

Besides working on cars, he enjoyed buying, selling, and refinishing antique furniture and was frequently seen at all the local antique dealers. Besides work his love was his family, he would marry Kathy Wright and the couple would have three children.

Survivors include his wife Kathy, a daughter, Elsie Rose Dobson and her partner, Melvin Oswald and a son, Taylor Dobson, all of Lunenburg, a brother Bruce Dobson of Lancaster and a sister Patricia Morrissette of Whitefield, and a very special cousin Michael Hicks and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a son John P. Dobson, and two brothers Michael and Clyde Dobson.
