John Richard McEvoy III of Lunenburg, died unexpectedly on January 23, 2012. John R. McEvoy III was born May 28, 1955 in Andover MA. He was an avid sports enthusiast especially golf, animal lover, and motorcyclist. John enjoyed spending time with his dogs, and taking long rides through the countryside on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. John also enjoyed boating, Skiing and was a gun enthusiast. John had a long and successful career as a professional welder.
He leaves behind his wife Katherine (Goewey) McEvoy, three brothers and two sisters; Elizabeth Stern of Hampton NH; Mary Ellen Lawlor of Haverhill, MA; David McEvoy and His wife Karen of Methuen MA; Tyler McEvoy and his wife Mary-ellen of Wells, ME; Walter McEvoy and his wife Fran of Amesbury, MA; 15 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday January 27, 2012 at 11 Am at the Lancaster Congregational Church.
