WHITEFIELD - John D. Reynolds, 76, of Hilltop Manor, died at home, Monday, November 11, 2019.
John was born on November 17, 1942 in Yarmouth, Maine, the son of Gurney W. and Catherine (Murphy) Reynolds. He was raised in Lancaster, NH where he resided until he and his wife relocated to Asheboro, NC in 1990. They returned to NH in 2018.
John was a truck driver and was fortunate to work for 2 family run businesses for the majority of his life. Currier Trucking of Gorham, NH and R&H Motor Lines of Asheboro, NC. In his spare time John enjoyed horse pulling, NASCAR and most enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.
Surviving family members include his sons John Reynolds and wife, Sue of Auburn, NH. Barry Reynolds and wife, Regina of Bow, NH. Ross Reynolds and wife, Cheri of Auburn NH and daughters Jan Surridge and husband, Roger Hartshorn of Manheim, PA and Kelley Colby and husband, Stephen of Lunenburg, VT, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Paula M.(Sheedy) Reynolds on August 8th of this year.
At John's request, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to North Country Home Health & Hospice, 536 Cottage St, Littleton NH 03561.
