GROVETON- John Connary Shores, 77, died at his home on Thursday, July 21, 2011.
Mr. Shores was born on July 22, 1933 in Lancaster, NH, a son of Charles V. and Marguerite (Boucher) Shores.
John attended school in Groveton. For a time he worked for his stepfather Frank Gallagher and then went on to serve with the US Army. He worked for many years at the Gilman Paper Co., after retiring he worked for Rosaire Marquis in West Stewartstown. He was a great mechanic and loved working on cars.
Family members include his sister Ann Broome of Fitchburg, MA; two stepsisters, Louise Samson of Lancaster and Jane Foss of Balton, CT, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by, his parents, stepfather, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 stepbrother and a nephew.
