John A. Wenmark

November 24, 1932 — June 16, 2008

LUNENBURG - John A. Wenmark, 75, of East Main Street, died Monday morning June 16, 2008, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.

Mr. Wenmark was born in Clinton, Massachusetts on November 24, 1932, the son of William and Flora (Schreiner) Wenmark.

In 1951 he graduated from Westwood High School, Westwood, MA, and then worked in landscaping and the manufacturing and quality control of early computers.  Later he acquired his real estate license and worked as a broker in Massachusetts.  In 1977 he retired moving to Lunenburg where he tended family lawns and gardens.

John was a 29-year Trustee and 24-year secretary at Riverside Cemetery in Lunenburg.  He was a 50-year member of the Meridian Masonic Lodge and the Parker Royal Arch Chapter of Natick, Massachusetts.  His hobbies included candlepin bowling, attending thoroughbred and harness racing, cribbage and watching football, basketball and baseball.

He leaves his wife Carol Stuart Wenmark of Lunenburg; nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, and was blessed with many friends.

At John's request there are no visiting hours.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Christ United Methodist Church, 135 Main Street, Lancaster, NH 03584.
