Judith G Guilmette

Judith Leane Guilmette (nee Goolsby), 83, of Boscawen NH passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday September 30, 2022. Judith was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on November 6, 1938, the daughter of Charles and Virginia (nee Drinkard) Goolsby. Judy was blessed to be married to the love of her life , Richard, for 60 years, who preceded her in death.

Judy spent many years as a homemaker caring for her children before returning to work first in the school system and later in the banking industry. Judy retired from Northway Bank in North Conway, NH. In retirement Judy enjoyed first and foremost her family, and attended many of her grandchildren’s activities, graduations, recitals no matter where the travels took her. Always smiling, cooking, hugging, kissing and spreading joy and love for her family. She would end her visits, phone calls with “I love you millions”. Judy was also an amazing seamstress and enjoyed making and selling doll clothes.

Judy leaves behind her children Rick (Robin) Guilmette, Cindy (Tim) Johnson, Jim (Faye) Guilmette, Beth (Scott) Key and her grandchildren- Jessica, Zac (Nicole), Kristina, Ben, Tyler, Tess, Chloe, Sophie, Molly, a brother Charles (Nancy) Goolsby and brother in law Peter (Louise) Guilmette. Judy was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth Anne, a son Paul Reynold, parents Charles and Virginia, sister in laws Margaret (Peggy) Guilmette, Mary Fitch and brother in law Charlie Fitch.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday October 13, 2022 from 4-7 pm in the Foxden Room at The Red Blazer in Concord NH. A graveside service will be held Saturday October 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at Calvary Cemetery in Lancaster NH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Judy’s name to Merrimack County Nursing Home, Edna McKenna Fund, 325 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen NH 03303.
