Judith Ann (Malboeuf)Labrecque, 83, of Gilam, VT passed away on May 8th, 2024. Judith was born to Henry & Mary (Denehey) Malboeuf on May 3rd, 1941 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She later graduated from South Hadley High School. In 1961, Judith married her husband of 63 years, Gary W. LaBrecque in Gilman. Together they had four children.
Judith worked for The Simpson Paper Company (formerly Georgia Pacific) until retirement. After retirement, she worked for Flagler Memorial Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida. She was also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Weeks Memorial Hospital while also an active member of the Gilman Outing Club.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, and traveling. Judith & Gary spent many trips away seeing the Caribbean and traveling across the United States. They would eventually spend winters in Florida. Judith will be remembered for her love of family. She was well known for ensuring holidays were special for her family and friends. Judith loved attending family reunions and enjoyed family that came from Pennsylvania for the summer. Those that knew Judith will recall her love for her friends and large family.
Predeceasing Judith in passing is her parents and sister, Mary Willis. Survivors include her husband Gary W. LaBrecque OF Gilman, VT, and four children: Jill LaBrecque of Edgewater, Florida; Jeffery (Michelle) LaBrecque of Greenville, South Carolina; Stacy LaBrecque of Palm Coast, Florida; and Stephen LaBrecque of Gilman, Vermont. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Amanda, Scott, Nicholas, Joshua, Travis, Chantel, Haley, Paige & Braden; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, James and sister in law Marsha Malboeuf , sister in law Mary LaBrecque; and her loving shih tzu, Libby.
