LANCASTER - Julie M. Dupont, 65, of Elm Street, died Monday evening, April 12, 2010, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.
Julie was born in Nashua, NH, on February 22, 1945, one of thirteen children of Julius and Marie Antoinette (Levesque) Kupchun.
She was raised in Nashua and later moved to the Seacoast area, residing there many years and raising her own family. In 2002 she moved to the North Country and has been a resident of Lancaster since 2007. She enjoyed bingo and crocheting and Sunday rides looking at North Country scenery. She was also a great listener and very comforting to her friends and family.
Julie's greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.
Family members include four children, Robert Dupont of Lancaster, Janet Dubreuil and husband Peter of Lancaster, Steven Dupont of Lancaster, Jeffrey Dupont and wife Kim of Barrington; a sister Lucille Hood of Nashua; grandchildren Janelle Dubreuil, Ashley Dupont, Chantel Dupont, Haley Dupont; and special friends Jeannette and Darlene. She was predeceased by, her longtime companion Nelson Hersom.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday morning April 24, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Daniel Deveau, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church, Groveton, will officiate. Burial will follow in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
