Juliette Desjardins

JEFFERSON - Juliette Desjardins, 70, of Cabin Fever Lane, died Thursday afternoon, January 26, 2006, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.

Mrs. Desjardins was born in South Berwick, Maine, on October 22, 1935, the daughter of Maurice and Beatrice (Chouinard) Taschereau.

Raised in Nashua, NH, she resided there for many years until she and her late husband Roland A. Desjardins moved to Jefferson in the 60's. She was employed most of her lifetime as a waitress having worked in Nashua and many years at the Continental in Littleton. She was also employed for a time at Profile Cleaners, Littleton, and Littleton Stamp and Coin. She always enjoyed coffee time with friends.

Family members include two daughters, Diane Boutin and Denise D. Desjardins both of Jefferson; a brother, Michael Taschereau of Merrimack; two sisters, Patricia Belanger of Florida, Gloria Lambert of Dalton; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Roland predeceased her in 2003. She was also predeceased by a sister Annette Tribbitt and two brothers, Conrad Taschereau and Romeo Taschereau.

At Juliette's request there are no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning January 31, at 10:00. Reverend Raymond Ball, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster.
