LANCASTER - June (Marchand) Gauvin, 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Country Village Nursing Home in Lancaster surrounded by her family and the caring staff members. June was born in Montreal, Canada on June 3, 1933. She came to the United States as a child with her family. She was the daughter of Arthur and Eva Jean (Biggar) Marchand.
June grew up in Berlin, NH where she met and married her first husband George Gauvin. Together they had two sons, Michael and Steven. They lived in Mount Holly, New Jersey where June worked at Sears as a sales associate.
She moved to Lancaster, NH in 1985 and married Norman Gauvin. They spent many happy years together especially at Maidstone Lake where they had a camp. They enjoyed going around the lake on their party boat enjoying the scenery.
June is survived by her son Michael Gauvin, her brother Arthur Marchand and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. June was predeceased by her husband Norman Gauvin and son Steven Gauvin.
There will be a service held at Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster on October 29, 2018 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster. There will be no calling hours. Those who wish may make a donation to Alzheimer Foundation of America in her memory.
