GROVETON, NH - June (Gilcris) Goulet, age 73, passed away at Weeks Memorial Hospital on June 20, 2023, with her family by her side.
June was born to the late Charles and Priscilla (Demers) Gilcris on September 12, 1949. She spent her entire life in Groveton where she met her high school sweetheart, and they married September the 3rd 1966. Together they raised 7 children, dozens of foster children as well as many family and friends. June and Wayne were the home for anyone who needed a place. They were married for 50 ½ years before Wayne passed away.
June was a homebody. She loved being at home and having company. Come on up for a cup of coffee anytime she would say. She loved to crochet and when the children were growing up the family spent many summers camping around New Hampshire and Maine.
June spent most of her years as a very busy homemaker, wife, mother, and friend. She worked beside her Mom at the Groveton Mill, cleaning the offices for several years when the children were younger. Up until her passing, she was homecare for her daughter Tammy. She was a doctor, nurse, caretaker, companion, confidant, cook, investigator and most of all friend to all.
She greeted everyone with "hello friend" and she left you with "love you more, more".
Wayne and June always taught everyone that love is the one thing money couldn't buy.
June's pride and joy were her two Grandsons Nathaniel and Zachary who she spent most of her days with, she loved those boys more than anything in this world. She and Wayne from the day they were born always had a special bond that no one can truly explain. Even up until the day of June's passing Zachary spent many night's sleeping with Gram and being her "nurse" he is very proud of what he did for his Grandmother.
June had many friends and family she has left behind. Her children; Tammy McLain, Dawn Pelletier (Randy), Darcie (Frankie) Concemi Angela (Justin) Goulet, Andrew (Jen) Goulet and Samantha (Marcus) Goulet. Daughter by heart Tricia McCormick
