DALTON - Kathleen E. Spicer, 64, of Whitefield Road, died suddenly Sunday evening September 10, 2006.
Kathleen was born in Lindenhurst, NY, on July 17, 1942, the daughter of Patrick and Ann (Sinclaire) Early.
She was raised in New York and for a time employed as a model in New York City for a large cosmetic company. During her lifetime she worked as a nurses aid and visiting nurse. She enjoyed providing care for the elderly. Her family was the love of her life, raising five children who blessed her with 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Surviving family members include her husband Wayne Ainsworth of Dalton; three sons, Michael A. Spicer of Biddeford, ME, Patrick D. Spicer of Bremerton, WA, Thomas O. Spicer of Poulsbo, WA; a daughter Carrie J. Merritt of New Hampshire; a sister Patricia Finger of Long Island, NY; in-laws, Everett and Janet Ainsworth of Dalton; and her before mentioned grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Timothy S. Spicer in 1976.
There are no visiting hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
