LANCASTER- Kenneth C. Lanpher Sr., 55, of Lancaster, died in Holderness on August 19, 2006.
Mr. Lanpher was born on February 5, 1951 in Acworth, the son of Kenneth Wallace Lanpher and Mary Pocket Lanpher.
He graduated from Keene High School in 1969 and took classes at Keene State College.
Kenneth was employed for many years at Al Melanson Company, Inc. in Keene, where he was vice-president of sales and marketing. He lived in Jefferson and Lancaster areas for the past eight years.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping, cooking, adult softball, baseball, and playing the guitar. He was involved with the Lions Club in Westmoreland, where he was past president.
Family members include his wife of 22 years, Sarita (Boyle) Lanpher; his son, Cody Lanpher of Jefferson; his daughter, Janell Lanpher of Jefferson; three children from a previous marriage, sons Kenneth Jr. and William, a daughter Toni; four grandsons, Dillan, Dakota, Dalton, and Conlan; a brother, Rickie Lanpher of Texas; a sister, Deborah Howard of Keene. His parents died previously.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, at 11:00 AM, at the Jefferson Christian Church, pastor Dean Stiles will officiate.
