Kenneth L. Russell Sr.

WHITEFIELD - On the morning of March 12, 2021, Kenneth L. Russell Sr passed away at The Morrison, in Whitefield NH. He was born in Newbury MA on April 19, 1928.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in The US Navy from 1945 to 1949. He first came to Whitefield in 1949. He met Elaine Colby, originally from Colebrook, NH and they married in Aug. of 1950.
Kenneth worked as a Plumber for Fitzmorris Plumbing of Whitefield and Bradley Cooper of Littleton. In 1962 he started Russell's Plumbing and Heating. In 1987 he sold the business to Fitch Fuel of Lancaster NH, where he worked as Master Plumber until he retired 1993.
He was a member of Post 41 of The American Legion for over 70 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with his hands, and he was an avid reader, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
Kenneth was predeceased by his Sons Mark C. Russell and Eric R. Russell.
He is survived by his Wife Elaine (Colby) Russell, his Son Kenneth, his wife Margaret, their children Ian and Keira, his Son Richard, his wife Suzanne, their children Angela and Amy, and His Son Stephen, his Wife Diane, and their Son Mark. He had 4 great grandchildren with one more due soon.
