Kevin R. King

STARK – Kevin R. King, 59, of Lee Hill Road, died at his home Sunday morning, June 4th, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.


Kevin was born in Lancaster, NH, on July 18, 1963, the son of Leonard Milford King and Linda (MacKillop) King Hopps, Stepfather Bernard Hopps. He has worked his whole life as a self-employed subcontractor specializing in air conditioning, refrigeration, and carpentry.


Kevin’s greatest enjoyment and light of his life was his grandson holden whom eased the pain of his courageous battle, he also enjoyed visiting with friends and family, hunting, ice fishing, riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, and carpentry work. He loved his “peoples” and his “Chrissy”. Kevin enjoyed visiting with his mother and doing house projects for her.

Surviving family include his wife Christine E. (Trembley) King of Stark; his son Benjamin King, his wife Jade and son Holden all of Stark; his mother Linda; a brother Leonard King and wife Lisa of Stark; three sisters Tonja King, Lisa Fogg and husband Doug, Marcia Robinson and husband Mike all of Groveton; mother and father-in-law Lois and Victor Trembley of Granby VT, 2 sister-in-laws Dawn Trembley of Granby VT; and Cory Chessman (Trembley) of Guildhall VT; 7 nieces Celia (Mike) Deterling, Sarah Styles, Samantha Graham, Amanda Robinson, Angela Fortin, Elizabeth (Aaron) Bellows, Melissa (John) Wilson, Amanda Fortin, Delenn Brooks; one nephew Garrett styles. Several great nieces and nephews.

So many more close friends, including Tony Fortin and Chris Caron, that he considered family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 17th at 11:00AM at St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Reverend Daniel Deveau, pastor will officiate.
