GILMAN, VT - Kevin L. Morton, 50, died of a sudden illness, Monday evening, February 15, 2021 at his home on Commercial Avenue.
Born in Wolfeboro, NH on June 12, 1970, Kevin was the son of Cecil M. and Vicki Ann (Lessard) Morton. He was raised on the family farm in Milton, NH and was a graduate of Nute High School.
Kevin had two jobs during his lifetime that he really enjoyed. One was working in the pesticide business for Bio-Spray in Exeter, NH. The other was driving an oil delivery truck for Irving Oil. He loved riding four wheelers and snowmobiles; as well as watching the grass drags.
For several years, after the loss of his mother, he returned to Milton to assist his father with the farm. For the past nine years he has resided in Gilman with his old high school friend and eventual fiancée, Carrie Merritt.
In addition to Carrie, he is also survived by three children, Zackery Mickelonis of Milton, Samantha (Mickelonis) Conway of E. Wakefield, NH, Jeremy "Jay" Mickelonis of Fort Lewis, Washington; his brother John Morton of Milton; his grandson Jacob and his stepchildren, Scott Merritt, Wayne Merritt, Kathy Luster all of Gilman, and Andy Merritt of Maine. Both his parents have predeceased him.
