Leon J. 'Butch' Eason

WHITEFIELD - Leon J. "Butch" Eason, 46, of Highland Street, died suddenly at his home on January 5, 2013.
Mr. Eason was born in Lancaster, NH on August 2, 1966 the son of Leon James and Dorothy Eva (Barrows) Eason.
Butch was a longtime resident of Easthampton, MA where he worked for a time as an auto body repairman in his youth and later was also a longtime driver for Starvos. In October of 2012 he moved to Whitefield.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and going for rides. He also enjoyed wearing and owning anything that was camouflaged. He was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose of Easthampton.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening January 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 210 Main Street, Lancaster. Burial will be in the spring in the Brookside Cemetery, Easthampton, MA.
