LANCASTER, NH- Leona A. Dunn, 83, of North Road, died unexpectedly in Randolph, NH on July 3, 2009.
Mrs. Dunn was born in Harrison, Maine on October 22, 1925, a daughter of Clement and Rebecca (Boubier) McAllister.
Leona was a homemaker, she helped her husband work their farm, family was her life; she was a wonderful mother and a grandmother, who loved spending quality time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, playing cards and dice.
Family members include her children, Mary McConaghy and her husband Lloyd of Bronson, FL, Alice Hand of Stark, NH, Esther Kenney and her husband William of Norway, ME, Judy Morin and her husband Norm of Waterford, ME, Dorothy Laws and her husband Michael of Evanston, WY, Leon Dunn and his wife Beverly of Buckfield, ME, Joyce Bickford and her husband Gene of Norway, ME, Robert Dunn and his wife Cindy Dunn of Whitefield, NH Holly Fisk and her husband Terry of Lake Luzerne, NY, Audrey Dunn of Concord, NH, Arthur Dunn and his wife Rejeanne of Lancaster, Don Dunn of Lancaster, NH and Diane Silsby and her husband Jason of Lunenburg, VT, her brother Carl McAllister of So. Paris, ME and her sister Mildred Pope of Norway, ME, 36 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her husband Reynold E. Dunn in 1997, her son Reynold W. Dunn, a brother Stan McAllister and a sister Elizabeth Tibbetts, a great granddaughter Destiny Bigue and a granddaughter Nicole Silsby predeceased her.
