Lillian G. Ramsdell

WHITEFIELD - Lillian G. Ramsdell, 93, died Thursday morning October 10, 2013 at The Morrison in Whitefield.
Mrs. Ramsdell was born in Guildhall on November 28, 1919 the daughter of Clement and Abbie (Lewis) Lamotte.
Raised in Guildhall Lillian later moved to Whitefield to pursue work as a housekeeper and a cook and for a time was employed for a doctor in Boston.
In 1942 she married her late husband Lovell H. "Bud" Ramsdell and moved to Lancaster.
She continued housekeeping and chamber maid work and was employed for a time at Lancaster Shoe Shop.
She was a strong independent New Englander who loved her two boys.
The staff at The Morrison had a close bond with Lillian and brought her much happiness.
Surviving family members include her two sons Daniel L. Ramsdell of Lyndonville, James R. Ramsdell and his wife Judy of Dalton; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday evening October 13

from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster.
A funeral service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 at the funeral home.
Reverend Lou Going, pastor of the Whitefield Christian Church will officiate.
