JEFFERSON- Lionel N. Dupont, 91, died Friday April 22, 2011, at Country Village Nursing Home, with his family by his side.
Mr. Dupont was born in Canada on September 23, 1919, a son of John and Rosana (Bennett) Dupont.
Lionel lived in Nashua for several years before moving to Jefferson 46 years ago. He worked many years at Bretton Woods as a plumber. After retirement he worked during the summer at Santa's Village.
Family members include his wife Marion (Willoughby) Dupont, a son Bruce Dupont and his wife Diane of Jefferson, two daughters Amber Boudle and her husband Rodney of Jefferson and Bonnie Smith and her husband Brian of Jefferson, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by, 2 sons Frederick and Robert, 3 brothers George, Richard and Gerald and 4 sisters Pauline, Phyllis, Catherine and Beatrice.
A memorial service will be held Saturday morning April 30, at 11:00 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. Reverend John MacKenzie, pastor at All Saints Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Forest Vale Cemetery, Jefferson.
