Lori L. Bragdon

GUILHALL, VT- Lori L. Bragdon, 45, of Fellows Road, died Wednesday October 31, 2007 in Saint Johnsbury, VT.

Mrs. Bragdon was born in Brunswick, Maine a daughter of Reginald and Judith (Sloat) Thompson.

Lori was a 1981 graduate of Freeport High School and that same year she married her husband Alfred D. Bragdon. Alfred enlisted in the US Navy and as she followed his career they resided in many part of the country including Groton, CT, San Diego, CA, Mississippi, Virginia, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. After Alfred retired from the military they made their home in Guildhall, VT seven years ago.

For a time she worked locally as a Para educator in the Concord Schools, Gilman Middle School, Lancaster Elementary, Guildhall Elementary, Lunenburg Elementary, and White Mountain Regional High School.

She enjoyed her home where she maintained the property, raised animals and tended her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved children immensely, particularly her special granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

Family members include her husband Alfred D. Bragdon Sr. of Guildhall; her son Alfred D. Bragdon Jr. and his wife Christina; her daughter Sarah Bragdon of Guildhall; her two granddaughters Ebony Bragdon and Kaysia Bragdon; her parents Reginald and Judith Thompson of Freeport, ME; four brothers Michael "Kerry" Thompson of Lisbon, ME, Dale Thompson of Topsham, ME, Kirk Thompson of Maine, Chris Thompson of South Portland, ME; 27 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held Tuesday afternoon November 6, at 2:00 PM at the Guildhall Community Church, Guildhall, VT. Rev. Alta Chase of Stratford will officiate.
