NORTH STRATFORD- Lottie L. Flanders, 61, died Sunday evening, January 29, 2006, at Fletcher Allen Hospital, Burlington, VT.
Lottie was born in Groveton, NH, on July 8, 1944, the daughter of Clifton and Nellie (Marchant) Hall.
Mrs. Flanders was raised in Groveton and was a graduate of Groveton High School. For the past 38 years she has lived in North Stratford. She worked as a seamstress for Manchester Manufacturing for 20 years and was also employed at GAMM. She enjoyed crafts, making flower arrangements, cooking, traveling, and especially being with her family and friends.
She was a member of the Stratford Hollow Methodist Church.
Family members include two sons; Jeffrey Flanders and his wife Alberta of Stewartstown, James Flanders and his wife Marsha of N. Stratford; a daughter; Tia Flanders and her companion Bud Willey of Whitefield; four grandchildren; Jonathan Flanders and his companion Miranda Sweatt of Colebrook, Kevin Flanders of N. Stratford, Kasha Flanders and Justin Flanders both of Stewartstown; one great-grandson; Dakota Keith Flanders of Colebrook; two brothers; Herbert Hall of Guildhall, VT, Addison Hall of Colebrook; three sisters; Barbara Benoit of Groveton, Nellie Meehan of Florida, Dorothy Cook of Massachusetts; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, her husband George L. Flanders.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday afternoon and evening, February 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, Groveton. Lottie's niece Rev. Barbara Sander, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Candia, will officiate.
