GROVETON - Louella J. Caron, 85, of Crow Hill Road, died Sunday morning, May 22, 2022, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster, following a brief illness.
Louella was born in Groveton on December 2, 1936, the daughter of Florence and Elmer Cantin. She graduated from Groveton High School in 1954 and has resided in Groveton most of her life.
She married Roland Caron in 1955 and they shared 60 years of marriage before Roland's passing in 2015. Together they have five children, Diana and husband Charlie Brann of Groveton, Kelly and husband Reggie McLain of Guildhall, Carol and husband Jerry Gagne of Groveton, Roland and wife Rhonda Caron of Whitefield and Rick and wife Cyndi Caron of Harrisville, NH.
Louella always had a great love of babies, children, and especially loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren, Tom, Ben, and Allison Hickey (Gilman), Nikki and Ryan McLain, Dana and Aaron Breault; and 7 great-grandchildren, Austin, Aidan, Brady, Cameron, Matt, Aubrey and Maddie Jo.
She loved to travel and with husband Roland they travelled extensively. In her later years, every spring she looked forward to buying and planting flowers around her house and enjoyed spending time with her friends at McDonalds having her daily tea. She loved tea.
She was also predeceased by brothers Cleo, Kenneth, and Reynold; and sisters Edith, Dorothy, and Millie. She is survived by her beloved sister Vivian Markham.
A graveside service will be held Saturday morning, June 4, at 9:00AM in the Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster. Reverend Daniel Deveau, administrator of the St. Marguerite d`Youville Parish, will officiate.
