Margaret Berryman

Margaret (Tucker) Berryman died on June 7, 2019 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She was the beloved wife of Roy Berryman and they shared 62 years of marriage. The pair had recently retired in Whitefield, NH.

Margaret was born on February 9, 1934 in Marshall, TX the youngest daughter of Ocie and Geneva Tucker. She and Roy were classmates at Pemberton High School. After high school Margaret went on to graduate from Bishop College also in Marshall, TX with a degree in Elementary Education. After college, she and Roy married on June 30, 1957 and moved to Chicago, IL where she taught in the Chicago Public School system. After her children were born she became a homemaker. Later Margaret became a travel agent and then finished her career as office manager and co-owner with her husband of Truck Parts Company, Inc. in Chicago, IL. She and Roy most recently lived in Crete, IL.

In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by her children Brian K. Berryman and wife Ruby of Lancaster, NH and Grant N. Berryman of Crete, IL. She is known by "Grandma Dean" to seven grandchildren residing throughout the country: Robin O. Berryman, Logan R. Berryman, Bianca D. Berryman, Kelly A. Berryman, Marquarius L. Berryman, Evan D. Berryman and Mark C. L. Berryman and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ocie Tucker and Geneva Tucker and all six Tucker siblings: Estress, Theresa, O.Z., Gary, Doris and Dale.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 9 to 11 a.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster, NH. A Mass of Christian Rite will follow at 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church also in Lancaster with Fr. Matthew Schultz as celebrant.
